Here is the list of top 50 banks in the world by its total assets. And in the list of the richest banks in the world, 12 of them are Chinese bank. 

The biggest bank in the world is the Industrial and Commerical Bank of China. It holds the total assets of $4.00 trillion. And out of the top 50 banks, only 6 are the American banks. This shows that China is unquestionably powerful in banking. 

The top bank's list includes 12 Chinese banks, 6 American banks, 5 UK banks, 5 Japanese banks, 5 French banks, 4 Australian banks, 3 Canadian banks, 2 banks from Spain, 2 from the Netherlands, 2 from Italy, 2 from Switzerland, 1 from Germany,  and 1 from Finland. Check out the list given below for the top banks.
